Information we collect

We collect only what we need to take an order, deliver it lawfully, and answer your questions:

• Contact and delivery details you enter in a form — name, email address, phone number, and shipping address — when you place an order or send a contact, wholesale, or concierge message.
• Order details — the products, quantities, totals, and the payment method you select. We do not collect or store card numbers; payments are completed off-site through the method you choose (Apple Pay, Cash App, Chime, Bitcoin, USDT, or bank wire).
• Age-verification status — a flag stored in your browser recording that you confirmed you are 21 or older, so the age gate does not reappear on every page.
• Cart contents and cookie-consent choice — stored in your browser (local storage) so your cart survives a page reload.
• Live chat messages — if you use the on-site chat widget, the message content and any details you provide are processed by our chat provider.
• Technical logs — standard server request logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser type) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and we do not build advertising profiles.

How we use it

• To process, confirm, and deliver your order, including passing your name and address to the licensed carrier that requires an adult 21+ signature.
• To contact you about an order, a wholesale enquiry, or a question you sent us.
• To meet our legal obligations for direct-to-consumer alcohol sales, including age and destination verification.
• To keep the site secure and working correctly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the store, and only what they need:

• Our email provider (Zoho), to deliver order and enquiry notifications.
• Our hosting and content-delivery provider (Vercel), which serves the site.
• Our live chat provider, if you use the chat widget.
• Licensed alcohol carriers, to complete compliant delivery with adult signature.
• Government authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

Cookies and local storage

We use only essential browser storage: your cart, your cookie-consent choice, and your age-verification flag. These are required for the site to function and are not used for tracking or advertising. The live chat widget, if you open it, may set its own cookies.

How long we keep it

Order and enquiry records are kept as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle any follow-up, and meet tax and alcohol-sale record-keeping requirements, then deleted or anonymised. Browser storage stays on your device until you clear it.

Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email concierge@agedandamber.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.

To exercise a right, email us from the address associated with your order or enquiry so we can verify the request.

Children

This site sells age-restricted products and is not directed to anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
