Sierra Nevada — Pale Ale, Celebration IPA, Hazy Little Thing & Torpedo
Sierra Nevada was founded in 1980 in Chico, California by Ken Grossman, and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is one of the beers most directly credited with launching the modern American craft-beer movement and defining the American Pale Ale style. Its IPA lineup spans Celebration IPA (an annual fresh-hop release every fall since 1981), Hazy Little Thing, and Torpedo Extra IPA, named for the brewery's "Hop Torpedo" dry-hopping device. Sierra Nevada remains one of the largest breweries still under independent/employee ownership in the US.
